So it is March 2020 and the coronavirus (COVID-19) is rearing its ugly head. One way many are dealing with the stress and the time and the isolation is to cook and to make bread. I LOVE BREAD. You name the type and I LOVE IT!!! If you add some sweetness to it, I am all in!!!
So during this unprecedented time, Martha Stewart Living April 2020 came out. And this Chocolate-Cinnamon Swirl Bread recipe was in the issue. So bread and sugar and CINNAMON!! The chocolate was a plus but not what sold me. In the issue, there is also a video to show you how to twist the bread. I think my favorite comment came from my lovely daughter Carolyn. She made homemade foccacia from Bon Appetit the same day (March 23). It looked delicious. She saw this bread and said, "You won!" A huge compliment!
This bread is time consuming but well worth the effort! FABULOUS!!!
