My friend Anita's birthday is July 3, and for years we have celebrated at our friend's, Del and Donna, farm (Wonderland) in Sparta. I usually bake the birthday cake. For 2019, I decided to be patriotic and make a flag cake. I really loved it!! The cake was from the Food Network Kitchen (called Flag Cake). What made the frosting be perfect was the addition of white chocolate. It spread so easily and stood up so well.
